Gonna take the plunge into 22 on Tuesday when I get paid Third hour - obviously, we need to save for some bigger fields. Second hour - OK, let's figure out how to harvest the crops and get some money. Either way, we tried it tonight.įirst hour - kinda dull and overwhelming at the same time I think I got it free for PS plus one month, or got it on one of those crazy sales for like $4. I watched a few videos and one 45 minute review, but, since it's a deep game, I still have questions :)ĮDIT - Thank you everyone for your responses. Please don't feel like you have to answer all these questions, even just some general thoughts are appreciated. I plan on, if I get it, figuring things out so I can explain them in a way she can process it. One last question - my wife has ADHD, so if anyone who has it cares to weigh in on how they feel about this game, please let me know! She's a little worried about it being overwhelming.

Oh, also - how does animal interaction feel? Do they feel like actual creatures or is it simply an egg/milk/etc producer?

How many players can play together? Can everyone sort of work on the same farm? If I enjoy it, I'll be after my friends to pick it up. And some questions my wife wonders - is character customization enjoyable? Is it deep? (I believe you can make a female farmer?) Can you paint/decorate your buildings and land? And, is all that fairly intuitive, or is it really clunky? How does multiplayer work? Is it online only, or is couch co-op available? We have two PS4s, but sometimes it's nice to actually be in the same room. So it seems like this is up our alley (I'm also a big Snowrunner/Mudrunner fan, which looks like it has some similarities). She loves growing and harvesting crops, and anything with animals. My wife and I do some gaming together - we've played a lot of Monster Hunter, Stardew Valley, and Ark. It's on sale on the PS store right now, until Wednesday. And I don't mean for the title to be so broad, but I couldn't put all my questions in the title. Yes, I realize this is a farming sim subreddit, and the answers will be biased.
